Personality: When tempered with, Stephen can be a bit aggressive. Though he looks as if he would run away from the sound of a pin dropping, Stephen is very brave and almost fears nothing that steps in his path. He tends to seem a bit Timid, but it is just because of his manners. He usually doesn't speak unless spoken too, there for being a bit quiet. That's at least him in school. As for out of school, he is a totally different person. While Stephen possesses no outwardly superhuman powers, such as Geass, his physical prowess is top-notch. He possesses superior hand-eye coordination and has extensive training in both firearms and hand-to-hand combat. He is also strong enough to lift two people on his shoulders. His trade mark move is his swirling-sword move.
He is more talkative and more serious. With his sword by his side, no one would usually get on his bad side, but if they do, he won't try to waste it on them. His charm and great wits gets him noticed. He is very intelligent and knows a lot about the wars that not many know about. He is, over all, a dependable friend and a great fighter.
History: After being born into the Ashford family, he was quite noticed in Britannia. Even as a child, his mother and father were proud to have a son with a high rank name. There were not many people with the Ashford name in the world, but him and his cousin, Milly were the few most that were born. His father, how ever, had been caught up in the moment and he left the family a lot. Stephen was left with his mother most of the time. Even though, you'd think, he would be a stuck up rich boy, he actually wasn't. He still helped out with the house they lived in and he helped his mother out as well. A few days after it happened, Stephen and his mother were informed that his father had been caught up in a terrorist attack. He was killed.
Stephen then began to fear that they would come for him and his mother as well, so he went to the top trainer in Britannia at age six. When he found him, he told him what he wanted to be trained in. Armed Forces and Hand to Hand combat. Even at age six, the trainer let Stephen pick his weapon and what did he choose? Well a sword. The original weapon.
Years after Stephen trained, he began to be called the sword expert. He, of course, was. Then when he hit the age of sixteen, his mother became sick and died. All his training was a waste, for it was to protect his mother and she was now dead. He started to go back to school as a Ashford student.
